11.5 Calculate Plate Angle

Plate Angle could be measured in range [0° .. 240°], typical [30° .. 180°]. 180° is a flat plate.

Two sensor detection (recommended):

Plate Angle = (Sensor Angle Back - Mounting Angle Back) – (Sensor Angle Front – Mounting Angle Front)

if Plate Angle < 0: Plate Angle + 360
if Plate Angle > 240: Plate Angle - 180

Front sensor detection (not accurate, if plate is asymmetric):

Plate Angle = 180 - 2 * (Sensor Angle Front – Mounting Angle Front)

if Plate Angle < 0: Plate Angle + 360
if Plate Angle > 240: Plate Angle - 180

Back sensor detection (not accurate, if plate is asymmetric):

Plate Angle = 2 * (Sensor Angle Back - Mounting Angle Back) – 180

if Plate Angle < 0: Plate Angle + 360
if Plate Angle > 240: Plate Angle - 180
